Chicoartist Posted January 7, 2005 Share Posted January 7, 2005 Got the far jet, Back for More - Mad Duck IV done. This is the full size canvas, 19.5" x 34", and a close up view of the far jet. "Mad Duck" is 6" wide. The trick is to present the illusion of the far jet being 400' away from the viewer. To that end, values, tonal contrasts, color saturation and DETAIL, yes, DETAIL must be relatively less than the closer jet. To ignore this "rule" and keep all these elements the same as the closer jet will instead give the illusion of a smaller R/C jet flying next to the larger plane!
