smithery
I cannot even begin to describe your attention to detail without using a lot of swear words........ Only other word that comes to mind is: EXTRAORDINARY!
richy
the 1/32 Tornado and the 1/32 Kfir are fantastic. thanks for your support. The tornado is build by "RED DOG" a very good belgium modeler and "Moshé" did the beautifull KFIR and the Israeli F16. i have only done the F15E and the F16C from MO.
richy
Hello, i send today you pictures of the engine bay painted. The door is set on the plane. straps are made with aluminium mixed with tamiya tape. I use only one of the two hinges because it gives much flexibility on the movements of the door. I hided the rough mecanism with aluminium cover. I also dressed some arches with aluminium to have more realistic finish. The isulated material (gold-brown) are painted with humbrol and sprayed with future before weathering with artist paints and spoted with airbrush. On this pict you can see that i had to make some changes because my hinges where pushing the red wire. (compare with pict 2) Edited February 9, 2005 by richy
richy
For the front part of the roof i chosed to print orange decals to recreate the orange tape of the plane. The door closes well. Full opening for the big overhaull. (métal bar is not acurate....) Detail of the ceiling The big pipe on the right can be removed to alow the GE to go in.
richy
You can see the mecanism of the hinges with extension that alows the door to rotate further than 100° Full vertical view. I will send pictures of the engine painted at the end of the week and engine in the plane.
