Recommended Posts

Ok, this is a bit more relevant here than the "in the mail" thread....

finalised a lay buy today....

1:32 Trumpeter MiG-3

1:72 Fujimi A-4E Skyhawk

1:72 MiniHobby F-5E Tiger II

and a decal sheet for Breadboard

Great day for a drive, so I hit the shops, and walked out with some supplies and tools.....

MM Insignia White

Gunze Emerald Green

MM scribing tool

Tamiya 40mm tape (I didn't even know they made it that wide!)

Tamiya Extra Thin Cement

Saw a whole boatload of 1:48 HC Tutor's for $20 each, but resisted the temptation....for now.

Thought I would start this thread along the same lines as Raptor22's "What did you get in the mail today" thread

So, I will start off-

1:72 Eduard F/A-18E Color Zoom set

Microscale Liquid Decal Film

Well, I have to give Matt thanks. He was actually getting more than the one photo-etch set but was kind enough to let me purchase one of them since they were the last. Thanks Matt. Oh, and I bought a 1/48 Hasegawa AV-8B 'Desert Harrier'.

Well, sometimes you buy the unexpected.

As happened today, I went to one of my hobby stores to pick up

some profiles from Evergreen.... :)

And suddenly I was standing there with a 1/48 Italeri AC130-A Gunship.

It is the "A" version of this fabulous aircraft, OOP for several time, but this one

is brand new, even the box is super. They found it in the basement some day.

I'm just a happy modeller. Oh and I took the Evergreen profiles as well :beer4:

Take care

Hey Paul, where do you find old FSMs? And how far back dated do you usually find them? Good prices?

Jamie,

I`ve bought old back issues from two of my frequented hobby shops. This time I bought 6 from 1988 -1991. These were $ 2.00 each.Last time ,at another shop ,I got 1992 - 2000 for a buck a peach. Thing is,I only got into modelling about 2 years ago.Bit of a late bloomer

Thanks, Paul.

I'll have to ask the guys at Keith's Hobby Shop if they have any back issues.
