Recommended Posts

Well yesterday I got to havea rummage in Jamieson's in Glasgow as a birthday present from the kids.

Picked up a 1/72 Revell 2 seat (Eurofighter) Typhoon and a 1/72 Zvezda SU-39.

Need to start building something soon, but the kids start back at School tomorrow...

Went in for some paint, came out with the wrong colour (they were out of what I needed) and a British Phantom in 1/48 which WAS FREE!!!!!!!!!! Just missing a couple parts and the box is moldy. Easy fix (I hope).

Went in for Testors Glosscote, MR and Trains,

Came out with this + Trumpeter 1:48th Seahawk Mk. 100/101, and gave serious consideration to a Trumpeter 1:24th Hurricane. I may call them back on Monday and have them put that back for me.

Squadron white putty, the latest issues of FSM, a couple of jars of paint, a new hobby knife, thin CA, CA accelerator, three different forms of plastic cement, and some blu-tak. Seems I ran out of everything all at once!

Oh, and an O-scale caboose for my son's model train.

:yahoo:

Didnt see this thread a few days ago or I would have written my stuff down. It was August 15th, I remember it like it was yesterday. (insert Scooby Doo daydream lines here)..........I walked into my local hobby store, hopeing for something good in 1/48th scale, but NOTHING! :( I kept looking around and found her........all alone on the shelf. It was a Hasagawa 1/32 scale TA-4J Skyhawk from VA-126 with Bicentennial markings.:crying2: She was beautiful, couldnt pass her up! Girlfriend didnt like it  , but I dont like her casino games, so I thought all is fair!

Oh yeah I also picked up some paint

new brushes

some metal files

some sanding sticks

new knife blades

putty

and PRO WELD, this stuff rules!

Thats about it, I loved every minute, kind of like a woman in a handbag store!

happy modelling all!
