One thing I noticed when I built my first Heller UB, and it would make sense that it would be the same on the Airfix birds too; it seems to me that they made the landing gear a bit too long. I don't have any measurements to back it up, it's just that after staring at so many pictures of Flankers, that when I looked at my Heller, it seemed to sit a little bit too high off the ground.
