Stuart Porteous
This would have been finished on Sunday if I'd remembered that it was March on Monday. I suppose a couple of days late is near enough. This is the Heller kit, modified by filling in some of the windows and scribing new cargo doors, with decals by Fineline. The decals are actually for an earlier livery so the "Air Atlantique" titles are a little bit too large, and all the green bits had to be hand painted. Most of the construction time was taken up with masking !
Stuart Porteous
It still needs black walkways adding to the wings, and I forgot the "ATLANTIC" titles on the tail. The fuselage codes should really be black rather than green but that can wait until I find the correct sized letters. Edited March 2, 2005 by Stuart Porteous
Stuart Porteous
Sorry about the crappy lighting, I can't remember the last time I was actually at home in daylight so this was all a bit of a lash-up with a couple of desk lamps. Thanks to Brady for organising this, and to everyone else involved. I'm not an airliner virgin anymore ! Comments / criticism welcome as usual. Stuart. Andy Mullen
Stuart outstanding finish  BTW I do most of my photography indoors / at night and I use Halogen desk lamps. Two of them would improve your lighting.
DC10Oiller
Nicely done Stuart! If this is an indication of how you build, the BAC1-11 should be quite the looker as well.
