lockheed2004
Just got this one off the bench and took a few pics. Decals are from Twobobs. Kit is the 1/48 Hasegawa V4 with the big mouth intake from the CJ boxing. Cockpit is the excellent Black Box set.

I.Illes
Nice build and colourful, too! A bit too clean, but that´s my personal preference. The only thing you could REALLY fix ist the seem on the centerline fuel tank. István
drhornii
Love the work and the decals are great. One thing though, noticed you have an "Inert" (blue bands on AMRAAM) and a live AIM-9 and live JDAM. Sweet trave pod too.... David
lockheed2004
Habu- thanks for the heads up on the fuel tanks, can't believe I missed that drhornii- I know I have a mix of inert/live weapons. Mostly I wanted it to get done and I didn't want to wait for the Twobobs sheet for the AMRAAM. But my current Viper will be entirely live weapons. Thanks for noticing though. doctorpepper
another doctor's comments: i noticed that too! in fact, i noticed that no one would carry a live JDAM and a travel pod on the same rig.. haha... but great job anyway. i suppose you could display one side as travel config, flip side as combat config

FrankC
Lockeed, looks good and that's not an easy model to build. Thanks for posting it to ARC! --Frank

jmel
-Did you use a LANTIRN Targeting Pod or a LITENING Pod? Looks like a A LANTIRN Targeting Pod, as a LITENING Pod would be for Block 30.Mike V The 149FW and 178FW are ANG training wings and fly exclusively with LANTIRN pods. No LITENING pods in their inventory. LANTIRN pods are fairly frequent on block 30s these days. Jake
lockheed2004
No worries, good advice all around. I went with the LANTIRN pod because the picture on the Twobobs sheet shows the jet with that one.

Posting construction and configuration errors gives guy a heads up for the next time, nothing more, nothing less. After all, it was posted in the "Critque" Forum. Mike V Hey Mike, I think you gave really useful feedback.
