TonyH
Hi all, My chief engineer at work is looking for pictures of a Blackburn Ripon.Apparantly it is or needs restoration. I'm told it resides in a museum in Finland somwhere,it was rescued for restoration. Would like someone who has seen this aircraft and has pics if they could email them to me. It would be greatfully appretiated and I would score a few points with the chief engineer. Thanks Tony
The Migrant
Here you go, Tony, a Blackburn Ripon:-
David Walker
Here's a pre-war Finnish Ripon IIF: Apparently the only one left in the world is in storage in Vesivehmaa, Finland. It's also listed as a Ripon IIF, registration RI-140. This is the only photo of it that I could find: Here's a color profile that would give you an idea of what it looked like during war time, though I believe this is an earlier mark: Edited March 28, 2005 by David Walker
