bru(no)
Hello, I have started my first large scale plane (1/24) . normallyI work on scale 1/72 or smaller.... first thing I have done is replace the pop up rivets by engraved ones. The problem is that the kit only gives them ( and they are very acurrate) for the the sides of the fuselage not for the top and the bottom fuselage. Erwin, I know but you don't have any detailed pictures. So I can't determine if the rivets are flush or round. I used to work with SN (therefore my logo) and the planes from around the same manufacturer time were flush riveted (737-200) but for repairs due to accidents with trolleys and other unindentfied rolling objects(URO) the mechanics used and use rounfd rivets. THe zone where they positively used round rivets is windshield region. Bruno

Barneydhc82
The Beaver used round head rivets...because it was never intended to go very fast in the first place. And a Beaver on amphibian floats was frequently used as a position reporting point. Barney
