jungle
Hi all, I thought I would share some pics as to the progress I've made so far on my 1/32 Revell Tomcat. I know I only have two weeks but I think I can do it. For the last week I've worked on it at night and at least 10 hours on the weekend. I'm done with most modifications so the rest should be straight forward.

Skull Leader
the kit comes with a plastic piece for the joint-rudder movement anyway... my guess is he's reinforcing that part.

I'll post more pics when I can. This way the stabs will move and be able to be detatched and reattached for transportation purposes.
Skull Leader
smart man! I need to consider a similar adjustment to my kit once I build it.

Skull Leader
Looking good, there Chris! I look forward to seeing the finished product (I will have to remember your trick with the extra tamiya nozzles and put those in with my Revell kit...)
jungle
That trick with the Tamiya nozzels is turning out to be a real pain in the a**!!!! The rear end of my Revell kit is so arped and out of shape that I've been sanding and filling the original nozzels for quite some time now. I still have to rescribe them before I attach the Tamiya jets… I'll pos tsome pics soon and you'll see what I mean.
jungle
Itried like hell to get this model done before the deadline and failed. This is what the model looked like on July 1st. Almost done. I would have completed it except I let the the oil paints I used to wash the panel lines with dry too long on the bottom of the plane and had to repaint it.
