silver1
I saw an X wing fighter at Wally world last week. Can't remember who it was by. Any chance it is in 1/48?
Grizzly
Since Old AMT Falcon is 46 cms long (with many other scale errors) and the new Fine Molds "will" be 43 cms long with a given scale of 1/72, you can say that the old AMT is close to be 1/72 (something like 1/69) Edited May 18, 2005 by Grizzly
ckalina
Some time ago I inherited a bunch of old AMT/Ertl kits, and I calculated the various scales. Sadly I've now lost the data, but as I recall... Depending on whose figure you believe for the "real" Falcon, it's somewhere between 1/65 and 1/100. It's close enough to 1/72 that you could pass it off as that. Unfortunately, none of the AMT/Ertl kits were anything like a constant scale. The TIE Interceptor was about 1/50, the B-Wing 1/96... It was a mess.
