which scale is the MilleniumFalcon from AMT?

Recommended Posts

Since Old AMT Falcon is 46 cms long (with many other scale errors) and the new Fine Molds "will" be 43 cms long with a given scale of 1/72, you can say that the old AMT is close to be 1/72 (something like 1/69)

Some time ago I inherited a bunch of old AMT/Ertl kits, and I calculated the various scales. Sadly I've now lost the data, but as I recall... Depending on whose figure you believe for the "real" Falcon, it's somewhere between 1/65 and 1/100. It's close enough to 1/72 that you could pass it off as that.

Unfortunately, none of the AMT/Ertl kits were anything like a constant scale. The TIE Interceptor was about 1/50, the B-Wing 1/96... It was a mess.
