is it windy yet?
Picked up Hasegawa's P-40E recently and I'm looking forward to slammin' that puppy together, although after I'm done with everything else biggrin.gif-Damian I had some fit troubles with mine that really slowed me down. The plugs don't fit as well as the should and rescrbing always slows me down. Ron
Terry McGrady
Hi Ron, That's what happens when kits are engineered this way . More inserts + mold wear = por fit and more effort . I treat them as I would a conversion. The quality of the molding and the detail is the best I've seen on a P40 Kit . However the way it's been engineered is the poorest. DErickson
The P-40 did not have the best engine or armament, but it did have a very sweet airframe. As the German ace Hans-Joachim Marseille once said, "It turned well...."
Eduard
Not my only favourite, but one of the top-few. Already as a kid I was fascinated by the Airfix sharkmouth P 40. Now I only have one, that I am going to finish in Dutch East Indies Markings. Greetings, Eduard.
