Raymond
Hiya well i managed to find a seedy sci-fi store with 2 xwing kits: the AMT snap-tite for $40 and the "bigger" one for $54, Ive confirmed these are the list prices, and my modelshop cant/wont get them any cheaper.....does anyone have picture of the snap tight kit? jsut trying to figure out how basic it is, and wether it is usable base for scratchbuilding. also, whats the Big kit like? is it worth the exra $14? help appreciated Regards Raymond Edited June 8, 2005 by Raymond
madmike
Ray Niether are well detailed and you would be better off getting the bigger kit (which is the original X-wing kit) not the ROTJ snap tite model. Personally wait and buy the Fine Molds kit for the prices you are quoting. If not, then go for the bigger X-wing! MikeJ
Raymond
youl love this mike......... my modelshop quote me $80-90 to get the finemolds kit in!!!!!!!!!!! ...still breathing? i msut say this has turned into an epic frustration
madmike
Crikey!!! Shop around mate! In regards to older kits, Jay is the man to answer all those qestions as he is most knowlegeable on the subject. MikeJ
Andrew D. the Jolly Rogers guy
Yeah, I'd stay away from the snap kit...it's awfully toylike. No question.
Green-Meanie
$80-90, have you looked at HobbyLink Japan from this sites homepage? the fine molds x-wing is only about a third of that including shipping.
madmike
I got mine for AU$36 including shipping. Raymond is quoting in NZD not USD... MikeJ
