I'm considering converting the Hobby Craft Bf 109B to the Bf 109 V-4 as it was the first 109 to see combat. I understand the upper cowling needs to be reshaped and the under-wing oil cooler was not present. It had the Junkers Jumo 210 and I hope the forward fuselage-cross section wasn't too different. Anything else? Also, what markings did it carry in Spain? The numbers "6-2" on the side and RLM 63 over RLM 65 seems to be my best guess but I can't find any pictures of this plane. Any help would be appreciated.

This site on the other hand says that the above picture is of V-3 not V-4. There is plenty of good info here for you though, including a couple of line drawings:
