Felinoid
I picked up an Encore Models 1/72 MiG-3 z.6, with a True Details resin cockpit and a whole lot of extras, reduced to $4.99 at a local store (Amatos in New Britain, CT, I assume their store in Middletown CT wil have a similar supply). It looks to be a good detailed kit, but there are no colors posted for the cockpit. I have been unable to find any sources for this. Can anyone help? I normally only do 1/72 jets, but this will be a good comparisom for the more advanced MiG types. Any input is welome. Felinoid
Murph
Felinoid, You should find these sites useful: http://vvs.hobbyvista.com/ColorResearch/paints.php and http://mig3.sovietwarplanes.com/mig3/mig3.html White Ensign paints also manufacture a line of Russian WW II colors, including metal primer: IMUP BLUE-GREY METAL PRIMER (used inside cockpits as an overall paint covering).
