Trevor
Does anyone have a photo of the right hand fuselage, showing the pasenger entry door? My Williams Bros. kit has a narrow door with half-round top and bottom, while the drawing on the Whiskey Jack decal sheet shows it as almost square. Please help, my kit is almost ready for paint. smithery
I went to the museum's website, and found this pic. Pretty clear that the door is how the kit depicts it, and not the decals. If need be, I can back that up with a pic of the actual plane. Museum is 10 minutes drive from my house.
smithery
Other side (from same website).....
Barneydhc82
We just have to quit meeting like this...someone might get the wrong idea..... The 247D door in the kit is correct. I just checked an old publication with the right side showing...had to use a heavy magnifying glass to see it... Parker's decals are good but there is nothing like a photo Barney
Trevor
Thanks guys. I always prefer photos to drawings, but I just haven't found shots of the right side. Out comes the scribing tool, and I'll rescribe the plane's regular door.
