DavidGreer
Please excuse me if this question has been asked before. I searched for it but didn´t found anything. What was the serial number of the Lightning of Antoine de Saint Exupéry when he disapeared on 31 July 1944? I´m not so familiar with the P38, but i think it was a P38J based recon version. What would be the appropreat kit/conversion kit in either 1/32 or 1/48 and is there any decal sheet for it? I´m thankfull for any help. David

MarkusN
This should actually help more. It's in French, but pictures don't have to be translated: http://aeroclubstdizier.free.fr/historique_st_ex.htm
A-4Silverfox
The Smithsonian's Air & Space magazine ran an article about St. Ex and the discovery of his P-38 about a year ago, so you may want to check their site out.
