Felinoid
I'm putting together the pod on my Fine Molds TIE Fighter, and have run into a color problem. My earlier inquiry here on the same subject provided me with a very useful link to a Gunze Sangyo chart, but not all the numbered colors are the same for Hobby Color and Mr Color. The specific is 40-on the Hobby Color chart it is either white or clear (I don't read Japanese), on the Mr Color chart it looks to be a charcol grey. Which do I use, it's applied to both the front and back of the pod. BTW, this is really an excellent kit, a bit pricey bu lightyears beyond the old AMT/Ertl/whatever kit. I have found an X-Wing, now to track down a TIE Interceptor. Felinoid
mazinkaiser
The '40' is Mr. Color's Charcoal Grey which correspond to Mr. Hobby's H-32. The numbers in squares are Mr. Color numbers. HTH
