The Ascent Stage is coming along nicely, but I wanted to see what the foil would look like on the Descent Stage. When my son and I travelled to D.C. a few years ago I bought a sheet of Mylar foil from the gift shop at the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum. The box claims that it's the exact same stuff as used on the actual LM exterior. Be that as it may, I find it to be a perfect fit for this project. It looks really great.
