CaptainErik
Hello guys, hope that I can still meet the deadline so here's my entry : Revell 1/48 F-5E with twobobs sheet (thanks to Dave Roof for ultimately supplying me that sheet), basically OOB, but I've spent some fair amount of work to rescribe it. Basic assembly and cleanup finished : Painting starts with preshading :
CaptainErik
Here I'm starting to paint the sand color, I used Humbrol 71 oak (satin) for start, then some white added to the mix to get some variation. Hope to be back soon Edited July 19, 2005 by CaptainErik

CaptainErik
Now the brown section where masked off with blu-tack (time consuming and messy work) and I used Humbrol dark earth 29 for initial outlining : Then I added Humbrol leather 62 to the dark earth 29 and filled in the spots : Edited July 22, 2005 by CaptainErik
CaptainErik
After removal of blutack : See you later

CaptainErik
are you build it as a in flight model? nice work No no, the geardoors and airbrakes are just fixed for painting the camo, they are glued with a bit of liquid mask/maskol, will come off easy again

CaptainErik
how much more to go? All the small stuff, lights, wingtips, exhaust, weathering ... How did you get it rescribed so fast? Rescribing started already in march, that took a long time together with filling and sanding everything smooth, when I finally found the decals I entered it here. I can't believe someone who sais he rescribed a kit in an afternoon, too much work for me, it takes me a month  Thanks all
