134th FS Vermont ANG Vipers

I know it's already been said but those are some fantastic photos. I particularly like the last one of the first series you posted with the F-16 moving away from the camera. Very well framed and definitely a dramatic shot.

Thanks Dave,

I'm really pleased that everyone like the shots so much!

I especially enjoy seeing the shots folks are picking as their favorites, and why -

Gives me an idea for later shoots too.

Thanks again Dave!

Suuuweeeet!

Click - save, click-save, clisk-save.

Great pictures! Thanks!

PS: What camera / lens did you use???

Hi CRASCA!

I gave a bit of info on the camera above, but forgot to go into greater detail - sorry.

I used a Nikon D70, with the 80-400mm f5.6 VR lens.

I shoot everything in RAW (NEFF), and then convert in Nikon Capture, then on to

Photo Shop 7.1

I was shooting in Shutter Priority (TV on Canon), at a 500th, AF-C mode, and ISO 200.

Where I was positioned, it would be hard for anyone not to get great shots!

I was just very fortunate to have the opportunity.

Take care!

Mike

She was a good flying aircraft whenever '384 was assigned to our unit(181st FW,Indiana ANG),'384 was the first Viper I launched after my Viper training on base in 1991,was then assigned to 85-1407 and 84-1311(one of several "extra" Vipers we maintained until other units took them on,we had around 29 Block 25's on the ramps at one time,'311 was w/o while flying with the 309th FS at Luke in 2000,'407 is now with the 194th FS)after "seasoning" on '384 with her DCC.
