Zactoman
Believe it or not, it looks even more awesome in person! Excellent job my friend! Kelly's right - it really does better in person. Photos don't do this model justice - it has to be seen to be believed. The model looks awesome in the photos and they are nice, clear, quality pictures, BUT... I've seen this one in person too and it's even more awesome than the model pictured here. Maybe something to do with the lighting? Perhaps some good outdoor pics on an overcast day might bring out more of its' awesomeness. (If you do decide to do another photo-shoot and nail the lighting, could you (Please :) ) get a group shot with some of your other birds?!?) Hey Cyrus :) ! How's your Nimitz coming along? Cyrus Tan
WOW...I'm flattered that this thread resurfaced after the few months I posted it! Thanx for the kind comments guys & gals! I sent the Machmaster the link so he could take a peek. Thanx Lonnie! How's the Machmaster doing? Good I hope. Maybe something to do with the lighting? Perhaps some good outdoor pics on an overcast day might bring out more of its' awesomeness. (If you do decide to do another photo-shoot and nail the lighting, could you (Please ) get a group shot with some of your other birds?!?) I'll see what I can do buddy...right now it's raining. The Nimitz is coming along very well Chris. I started the hanger deck a few weeks ago. Lots of measuring & scratchbuilding involved. I'll post some new progress pix soon. Thanx again for the comments. Edited December 26, 2005 by Cyrus Tan
David Walker
I also somehow missed this one the first time around but I'm glad I caught it now. That blue just jumps out and the rivet detail you added really adds a lot to the realism. Great Phantom.
