Alvis 3.1
Wow..that is VERY nice! I read the book at age 12 or so, and it stayed with me since, I've yet to see a film rendidtion that is worth comparing to the book (Not having seen Pendragon's yet tho). one day, perhaps, we may get a decent miniseries out of it tho Alvis 3.
madmike
'tis my wallpaper at work currently. Not strictly correct as HMS Thunderchild was a Torpedo Ram and the ship in the linked pic is a Majestic class Battleship but it is a beauty all the same! MikeJ
jmdmsu
I read the book in Jr. High several years ago. I went to a science/space summer camp the following summer. We got to build model rockets and were given total creative control over the color artwork and fin alignment on our rockets. After I made mine, I wrote "Thunderchild" down the body of the rocket. Everyone starting coming up to me asking what it ment. It made me feel like the old educated one in the bunch . Great looking image. I'll be sure and pass it along. jason
