gunpowder Posted August 15, 2005 Share Posted August 15, 2005 The Bird of prey is in my opinion the best looking "baddie" ship in the Trek films. Maybe because its close to the look of an aircraft? I love the look of the ship with its wings in the up position. I decided yesterday to have ago at scratchbuilding one. Im not fussed about it being an exact replica of the studio model. As long as it looks good , thats OK with me. I have no plans but i do have an AMT kit, so i decided to make it 3 times bigger, giving me a fuselage length of 31" and a wingspan of 42". I have got to say that scratchbuilding something different is very addictive!
