I was thinking about using the Blu-Tac for masking canopies. It supposedly doesn't leave any residue, and I think would be a lot easier than masking with tape. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
Thommo Posted August 22, 2005 Share Posted August 22, 2005 I reckon you'd struggle to get nice sharp lines (I'm assuming you mean masking off the clear sections, leaving the frames exposed to the paint). If you mean just covering up the whole canopy, perhaps after you've already painted the frames, I've dome that with blu-tak & it works fine. Residue can remain, but just get it off by dabbing with a soft bit of blu-tak again. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
