My start with my first project after 20 years

Hey Eagle Driver!

One comment if you please:

What you called electronic bay is actually part of the radar and what you called radar is actually the radar's antenna.

Except of that - everything looks great and i'm waiting for more updates.

Hi EagleDriver,

T'riffic update. The wear on the ladder is expertly rendered. Top notch B)

The ordnance looks superb too. I plan to add the expendable gas-bags to my next Mudhen. Did you cut the aft end off? If so, do you have any pics please?

The seats look fine and the plumbing on the gear legs adds to the overall look. I'd say you're doing a great job. Keep it up mate. :beer4:

AS-10 is a good choice EagleDriver. It looks very accurate in 1/32nd scale. Oh, and thanks for showing pics of the gas-bag. It'll look o.k once it's hung under the pylon. The stencilling on the AIM-120s is great. Is that from the kit? :D

Just a small detail - you've got yellow bands for "Live" rounds on the AIM-120's and blue bands for "Training" rounds on the Sidewinders (unless you meant to depict them that way).

Next step : Alclad over the gloss black.

Should i polish the gloss black (i'm going to use polished aluminium) ?

What grid sand paper should i use ?

I know (unfortunately too late) that it should not be blue for the sidewinders.

I'll see if i'll change it

Hey, you're making good progress on this big bird EagleDriver :(

The pre-shade looks good. It should be subtle. You can always dirty her up a bit later if you feel the need :)

The colour match looks good too, as do the seats and canopy. I have n't noticed the ring around the burner can petal actuators being quite so blue on the "E" model. I'll have to check my references though 'cos I've definately seen Charlie models with that colour... :P

Keep it up.

:P
