Boomstick
My F-15E is nearly completed so I though I'd start this little fella. Stay tuned.

THUD
Take a pick on my B-1B (is finished right now but I don't have any pictures with me right now).....seriously....you're a brave man....welcome to the club http://www.arcforums.com/forums/index.php?...topic=46444&hl= Edited September 9, 2005 by THUD
Boomstick
Hey Thud, looking good so far. Are you going with after market nozzles. I can't believe how bad the kit ones are. I'm going with these: http://www.kitreview.com/reviews/bonenozzlereviewbg_1.htm They are too long but alot better than the kit nozzles. THUD
Yup that's the same I used on my kit, they are very accurate for the kit.....and also if you can, buy the Eduard PE for the B-1B, it will improve A LOT your A/C
Boomstick
Do you have a link for the PE kit. I normally build OOB but I'm intriqued about add on.
lockheed2004
Good luck! You're gonna need more Corona than the one you have there
Ishthe47guy
I congratulate you sir on your undertaking. I’ve not worked on mine in over 18 months. Schedule is just to tight sometimes. I’m down to only 2 of these kits, having sold the other three. What markings are you going to use? Also, do you know about the B-1 group build over on the Finescale forums? Its under the group builds section. Look for the Bonehead group build. Chris Ish.
madcow
Boomstick, go to www.eduard.cz and make a search. I also have this kit, the CE nozzles and Eduard PE set. I started the kit (glued a few parts), but I soon realized I had no space for it. Ricardo
TomcatFanatic123
My F-15E is nearly completed so I though I'd start this little fella. Stay tuned. LITTLE fella ????? Can't wait to see the finished project!
Spaced Marine
My F-15E is nearly completed so I though I'd start this little fella. Stay tuned. I see the Corona bottle in the background. This is a prime reason why we should not drink and model at the same time. We walk down to the workbench the next morning, and see some new, crazy project started, and we ask: "I did what last nite?" All kidding aside, I have one of these little fella's to tackle one day as well. Good luck, and please keep us posted.
Boomstick
Yeah, it took one Corona just to open the box and look inside! It looks like fit may be a problem with this build, can someone confirm this. Edited September 10, 2005 by Boomstick
Spunk-Y
I heared that to, but that won't hold me off, Hope to start with it within 3 to 4 months . Good Luck with yours
lockheed2004
I can confirm. Have a tube or two of putty on hand and be prepared to fill, sand, repeat....
The_Animal
Boomstick, Little fella???? Looks like you've been drinking too many Coronas. Anyhow. it looks great. Hope the dryfitting's going OK.
Boomstick
Everything will be OOB with exception to the horrid engine nozzles. I'm going with the following Two-Bobs sheet:
Spunk-Y
great looking sheet, I will go for the Cutting Edge sheet with the memphis belle (also got markings for the 1/144 B-52 belle, 1/48 F-15E and 1/48 F-105 , now I only need a B-17F, this will propably be 1/72 ;))
Boomstick
Aft crew section taking shape, still alot to be done on it.
Boomstick
Nearly there, I can't believe I'm really going to finish this thing, there were times I wanted to throw it through the window. Edited November 16, 2005 by Boomstick
Boomstick
Hmmm, I guess maybe I should build a 190 or Su-27.
Lancer512
Hmm... You've built that kit in less than 3 months? Wow! Edited November 17, 2005 by Lancer512
VF-x
Boomstick, I have a question about the CE nozzles that you've used. I have the same set, but I'm a little unsure of what I need to cut away. There are no instructions regarding which section of resin must be cut apart from the actual parts. Can you provide me with some guidance on that? Thanks, VF-x
