The main body was done by painting it a darker grey, then wiping the whole model with water before sprinkling salt on certain areas. Then it was airbrushed over with a lighter grey. Rub the salt off and there you go. The side blisters were done by the same method but replacing the salt with masking fluid flicked on with an old toothbrush. Great fun!
