Bandwagon 106
Hi all, When did A-4E's and F's switch from a straight refuelling probe to a bent one ala A-4M, I know it was in the '70's.I'm doing an A-4F from VA-55 in 1972, and an -E from 1975. And, has anyone noticed the decals from #09399"Lady Jessie" are made by Cartograf? They look great. Thanks, Joel
A6BSTARM
According to the Skyhawk Association they went to the bent IFR probe when the A-4F came out in 1966.
Bandwagon 106
Thanks, after a little bit more seareching, I've found a pic from the era I want(1972-3), and its bent. It seems that skyhawks recieved these probes in 1972, the last three navy VA units, VA-55, VA-164, and VA-212 were so equipped, everyone else had converted to th A-7. Thank you for the assist, Joel
