Boy ,that`s not cheap. I got a whole bunch of lead from 1/32 " thick up to 1/8" from a radiation/x-ray lab we did and from an old office building (they used lead sheets to deaden sound from office to office in those days)

I got rolls 6" x 1 foot long ,so I`m good for a few years.

Hey,who knows, maybe I`ll build myself a radiation shelter one day.

My lead foil comes from my local supermarket. It's not cheap - on average about £5 per piece - but it does come with a free bottle of wine. :(
