aidy
raymond, why don't you try finding a colour laser printer or someone who has one. prints sharper you know. what do you use to draw? i've got some afghan, iraqi and syrian roundels and numbers in illustrator i can give if you want. it basically in 1/72 but i can shrink it to your favourite scale. Benner
looks good ray ... wanna print me some decals?
phantomwings
Raymond, I'm using Microscale Liquid Decal for coating my decals. Works fine and gives a super-thin coat and is dry within a second, so no smearing - although I haven't tried this on inkjet decals as I use an ALPS printer. But it should work. MikeMaben
Microscale Liquid Decal film is great stuff for Alps decals but I hear that it can smear inkjet decals (has to be brushed on). I would recommend airbrushing a coat of Future on inkjet decals. Mike a b e n ...but that's just me
phantomwings
Mike, I airbrush LiquidDecal. Fine needle, high pressure. :P
Scalephantomphixer
Microscale Liquid Decal Film smears inkjet decals if applied with a brush. But if you apply a very fine layer, in one single stroke (no back & forward), and let it dry before applying a heavier coat, you could get a strong enough barrier against water. Today I abandonned Microscale, and spray a matte lacquer from a spray can. It works great. - Pierre Edited September 17, 2005 by Scalephantomphixer
