Albert Moore
Hi Mike, For my second entry I'll try to squeeze in the RoG reboxing of PK-48, the MBB BK-117 'Medicopter 117' (thanks, Hal!). It will be completely OOB, decals and all. Cheers,

theplasticsurgeon
Took some more 35mm photos this morning, so I'll be posting again soon. Will be adding a second Sea Harrier with 700A NAS markings to the 800NAS example I've already posted (this model has been completed). A second Meteor to that I've already posted. This kit is not yet started - but I've been asked to build as WS774, a silver NH14 being restored at RAF Quedgely, by the father of a colleague. A fresh thread for Piston Provost, again this kit is waiting on the bench.

Eduard
I have replied in the group build thread before, but i'm not sure if i'm in the list now. Count me in for a Buffalo. It will be OOB, in Dutch colours, which means that I will use colours as per my sources, and if the original decals are not good anymore, I may use decals from Dutch Decals. Greetings, Eduard. madmike
Just a note here. Lesney moved their production to Hong Kong when they were purchased by Mattel in the early 80's. The Matchbox kits coming out of China/Hong Kong are the real deal everyone... :D MikeJ Edited February 22, 2006 by madmike
dougc905
Hmm. I thought that I had put my name in to build a F-104D way back in November... Anyway its almost done and will look like the airplane on a stick outside of the Canadian Warplane Heritage museum in Hamilton, Ontario. Check photo #0752141 on airliners.net for my inspiration. The Matchbox kits coming out of China/Hong Kong are the real deal everyone... MikeJ Yeah, I have a couple of those (little bits of Oriental here & there) but still multi-language instructions. This kit has English on the box top but the instructions are pure Chinese -- seems to me these kits are a generation or so removed from what you mention ?? John John Possibly, I have a number of them as well and apart from the Chinese instructions they certainly are not knock offs... Perhaps for the Chinese/Hong Kong market? Decals from mine are a little suspect as my Provost build's sheet shattered when placed into water. MikeJ
jRatz
Mike: I wasn't really trying to imply knock-off -- they still have the copyright inside the fuselage, etc ... Just the low-qual instruction sheet is kind of a downer -- I guess they were for local market. John
