Spaced Marine
Are any of the F-1's wearing the same camo that the F-2's and some phantoms are wearing? I have the Hasegawa kit, and I think that would be an appealing build if so.
mazinkaiser
I believe only the F-1 in JASDF 50th anniversary scheme is in blue color. All others are in the F-4 style camo.
MoFo
Yes. With an asterisk. Edited October 13, 2005 by MoFo
MoFo
Well actually, no, but a blue/blue scheme.

MoFo
However, it's possible the blue cast is just the result of a wonky colour balance, and that the actual aircraft was grey/grey. The first couple of shots look like they COULD be Euro I grey/Gunship grey to me, while the third shot (which is taken from the same photo series) is much bluer looking. The next three shots are definately pushed to the yellow end, but the camo LOOKS blue, and has a similar demarcation to the F-4 and F-2 schemes. Soooo... there are photographs that support a blue F-1, however those photographs may actually depict a more normal grey/grey aggressor in weird lighting.
Skull Leader
Blue-scheme F-1s? Yes (as referenced by the pictures above) Same shades as the two-tone blue Phantoms and Viper-Zeros? Nope. Those particular colors are a fairly new innovation I believe (as in, the last 12 years or so) Still pretty kickass though... like the distant cousin of the Jaguar
