Will there be a 1:350 NCC-1701 from PL?

Recommended Posts

According to a report over at Starshipmodeler forum there are no new Sci-fi subjects announced by RC2 in the first half of 2006. However no word on what the second half of 2006 will bring so ther is some hope, slim but some hope.

I am talking about the one from the Original Series on NBC from 1966-69.

I'd love it.

"NCC-1701. No bloody A, B, C or D."

:D

;)

Certainly hope they will release a kit, content with the the PL 1:1000 kit and I hope to get new decals for my old AMT kit.

C'mon, Boys! I want ALL of 'em in 1/350.

From Steven Decatur's Sloop, all the way up to NCC-1701/E.

Nice, consistent 350th scale. Of course, the sailing ships, and the shuttle, might be kind of SMALL.....

And the Galaxy Class will STILL be BLOODY ENOURMOUS!!!!! :o

{approx 2.85 Meters overall length, if my SWAG is close}

But I can dream, can't I? :P

Just trying to gather everything I need to build a shrine to the most famous name in the Navy - water OR space Navy, that is.

You reckon the Galaxy Class would be big?

How about the Sovereign Class NCC-1701-E? Bigger again than the Galaxy class, it would be HUGE!

:o

What about the Romulan D'DERIDEX Class Warbird at 1/350 scale?

You would have to have a forklift to move it around! :D

Most likely need to take out a loan to buy the kit as well!

Personally, I would like to see more models in scale with the AMT "Movie" kits of the ENTERPRISE-A & RELIANT. The NG era ships just leave me cold for some reason. They look like they were carved or poured from a mold or something - the Movie era kits look like "Real" warships that were built to do a job.

I agree with you. I would like to see more in the 1:1000 scale series as well.

Both 1:350/1:1000

Refit Constitution I class Heavy Cruiser eg, NCC-1701 (done as 1:350)

Constitution II class eg, NCC-1701-A

Excelscior class Heavy cruiser eg, NCC-1701-B

etc

;)
