I know...it's not a jet, but I thought I'd share it anyways.

Hope you like it?

I don't mind...At least it's not a car model!

Looking great so far Cyrus. Please keep posting pics for us!

If this is even half as good as your other models, we're in for a treat!

Chris

What sources are you checking for adding all those details?

Kristian - I'm using various reference materials like Ray Bean's CDs, various websites : navy.mil navsource.org, D&S Enterprise book, and a Huge book called SEAPOWER that I picked up at Barnes & Noble. I'm currently looking for more reference shots of the framework underneath each elevator.

What planes are you putting on it?

SH88 - Well I'm using GMM CVW-17 airwing decals (90's) as a starting point. CVW-17 hasn't changed much for the 2001 time frame, except for the Blue Blasters (VFA-34) that were re-introduced. I'll have F-14Bs (VF-103), F-18Cs( VFA-34, VFA-81, VFA-83), E-2Cs (VAW-125), EA-6Bs (VAQ-132), S-3B (VS-30), & S/HH-60s (HS-15) onboard. No Super bugs yet.

Chris - Thanx for the encourgement buddy - We'll do! This is gonna be one huge project and I have a lot more work ahead of me. ;)

Cyrus,

I'm going to be moving my crap needed for cruise onto the Reagan just after Christmas, if you still need the under elevator shots (should be the same) when that time comes let me know and I'll see what I can grab...... they (the cops at NASNI) have been jacking folks up for taking pics but I might be able to sneak a couple.

Looks great so far man!

Sponge - By all means, go for it. I could definitely put them to good use!

Amazing work, Cyrus.

Skii - Likewise...your Tornado GR.4 is simply outstanding!

By the way, your photography is getting very good.

Henry - Man... I couldn't have done it without you! All your suggestions have made it all possible. I'll see ya around buddy!

OK you have to post this over on Steelnavy!!! Also I know you told me but how did you get the rounded domes ontop of the evergreen tube?

Jimbo - Roger that! I just have to figure out how to post pix there. I'll e-mail you about the domes.

Hey Carbine

Truth be told Cy was a ship builder long before he got into A/C.He won the Tamiya grand prize and a trip to Japan a few years ago with his USS Enterprise. So I guess you can say he went back into the closet <_<
