RKic
great looking a/c that mig 23 tell me, do you paint in your bathroom, or just take the photos there. Im just getting this image of sitting on the can and airbrushing something. Sounds like a rather good idea
Raymond
Well not quite! ;) the bathroom has an extractor fan id sware was lifted from a mig-25, makes indoor painting alot easier and keep sthe purple paint monsters away regards Raymond
svaz
Almost there, almost there ... can't wait to see it - the -23 is my all time fav airplane! Which kit did you use? Oh boy, I hope the rumors about a 1/32 -23 are true! (gawd, the wife is gonna be torqued!) Can you believe the forum sensored the word ******? (<- did it again. :D ) Edited November 20, 2005 by scalemdlr_svaz
Raymond
HIya! Cheers guys :D man, an eventfull day! turns out while priming the ac with the extractor fan on, it sucked up soem of the propellant, leaving a horribly grainly mess for primer......ofcourse i diddn tknowtice this untill id put the first coat on.....in the wrong colour too! (yes it was that bad a day!) so out with the oven cleaner and back to square one......primer left a finer pebbaly mist this time (think it must be almsot outa juice!) whcih i tried to clean up, then i applied the correct colour. Dossnt look as neato as i had origionally planned, the paint looks thick :< but after a coat of future and dull coat, im keeping positive the imperfections will dissapear. Certinaly doing 72 again is like doing it the first time! expirencing the "shock and awe" nightmare of modeling Regards Raymond http://img294.imageshack.us/img294/7607/19is1.jpg http://img294.imageshack.us/img294/1640/26la.jpg Edited November 24, 2005 by Raymond
