Steve Filak
Looking very nice, Greg! You did a nice job with the scribing, and the panel lines are visible, but not "in your face". I look forward to seeing the finished jet when she's all buttoned up. <_<
Chorse6
Nice 106, Greg! Well done.
David Walker
That looks superb. I've got one on the shelf and have considered rescribing it but that's something I've never tried before except in small doses. Would this kit be good for a "first time"?
drhornii
Man that is nice, makes me want to break out my F-106 or F-102 out and build those.

TF51GREGWISE
Thanks for comments everyone That looks superb. I've got one on the shelf and have considered rescribing it but that's something I've never tried before except in small doses. Would this kit be good for a "first time"? I would not recommend this kit for your first time scribe however a excellent starter kit I would suggest is the old mono P-40B...they are cheap, straight forward, overall good fit and small. :P Edited November 30, 2005 by TF51GREGWISE

Holeshot
Greg, Great job on the rescribe, that's a fantastic looking F-106. You should do a writeup on how you did the rescribe--did you use templates? dymo tape? what tool(s)? Curtis

TF51GREGWISE
Thanks again folks. Greg, now I know what was missing from plane when I saw it last weekend. PANEL WASH! . Sorry I couldn't figure that out. Looks real good. Steve I have looked in this cockpit and Greg did an excellent job in there.\ Mike Mike the next day after I saw you I went ahead and wetsanded the model again(1500) and shot another lite coat but this time it came out flawless(thanks to the new trap on my compressior that you gave to me). and also used a darker wash than what I used on the phantom. Have you tried out the new reducer?
