svaz
Well, this was actually supposed to be a test bed for the paint to see how well it could simulate NMF. All things considered, I think it could represent a silver laquer finish quite well since, well, it is silver laquer. Anyway since I won't make the deadline w/ any of my other projects, I am going to try to finish up this -19 as my contribution to the GB. (please, no laughing out loud ...) raw kit: You can see that the "office" is completely bare (I scratched a seat but no tub) and the intake is blocked. finally, some paint! NMF really brings out rivets, doesn't it? And for the curious, the paint itself. I decant it into a cup, unthinned, for use in my airbrush. crappy pics, I know. I'm hoping to shade a few panels tonight, gloss coat & decal tomorrow, weather & flat coat the following day. Oops, got to get the wheels in there somewhere .. Bistromath
Nice model It should still be better after paner shading and a wash.
svaz
¡al fin! Here she is, my first MiG-19 (KP, 1/72) & first NMF. All the horrid, glaring, wretched, taunting errors are hidden quite nicely by using the right angles. I'm done, I'm done, I'm done!!!
