BlackCat
MF at HLJ $162. Over 900 parts. Gentlemen, start your hyperdrives.
Valdis
Too expensive and it's not worth it atm has my modelling skills wouldn't allow me to build a stunning replica. Maybe next year or in the next-next...
GEH737
Good quality is always worth the price. I pre-ordered 3 from HLJ - one for me, and two others for my friends. Fine Molds did the "Fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy" justice
Randy Wise
Yeah... looks great. I even recognize the three Panzer V rear decks over the engine compartments. But I'll risk a divorce if I were to buy that kit. I despise Fine Molds for making a kit that I really want, but is too expensive to afford. Bastards!!! Randy
Dave Williams
Mine is already in packaging at HLJ.

GEH737
I got my confirmation email from Hobby Link Japan yesterday. I was charged (with conversion) $156.05 for the kit (which seems like a good deal) but the shipping was $40.35... Actually it was $121.04 for three of them (two for my friends). Is shipping based on weight or bulk? Anyone know? Looking at the scans of the instructions, it sure looks like we're getting our money's worth

GEH737
Thanks Toad We just combined the order to save $$$ Doesn't really seem like that happened... Believe me, they'll be paying me back.
GEH737
I got mine today :) Without a doubt, one of the best molded, best packaged model kits I've ever laid my eyes on. The presentation, layout, and molding are simply outstanding. I don't say this lightly, but if you're even remotely interested in this subject, I can promise you two things. You won't be disappointed, and it's worth it :D :D George
Grizzly
I got mine today :) Lucky one!! It was fast. How many days between shipping confirmation and kit in the letter box? Griz
Dave Williams
Unfortunately, I got my shipping notice yesterday and found that I had selected EMS shipping. An extremely expensive option for a kit this size! BTW, there is a video now over at HLJ of them getting the kits off the truck and a look inside the box.
Grizzly
get my shipping notice yesterday. I guess I'll get it the first week of the year

gunpowder
I paid for mine today. Im not sure how long it takes for them to ship it after payment? Definately wont be here before xmas. D'oh!
Llarry
I ordered mine late Monday, got the shipping confirmation yesterday. From what George said, I expect mine sometime next week, though it could be the week after. On the other hand, I have never paid so much in postage in my life... (not complaining, it's reasonably fair and I knew up front it would be hefty). Ordered the Falcon, 3 X-wings (one more for me, 2 for a friend) and 2 Sweet kits, and paid more just in shipping than I have ever paid them... (but not more than I have paid GMW, Squadron or Roll Models... )
GrandpaVader
I pre-rdered mine through StarshipModeler, they got their's today and I am pretty close to Chicago, so I am hoping I'll get have mine by next Wednesday.... I'll keep my fingers crossed....
Blennidae
I ordered from HLJ. I received the shipping notice on 12/19. I received the kit on 12/22. I am in California. I dont know if that will help in trying to estimate shipping times. It is the fastest I have ever received an order from HLJ.
gunpowder
I havent had a confirmation email yet, but i logged on to my account with HLJ and it said that th eitem had shipped! So i take it its on its way?! Cant wait, ive tidied all of my paint cabinet and sorted my tools out in anticipation!
GMK
Got mine yesterday (22/12) in Australia, using SAL! Ditto about the kit - simply stunning!
RedHeadKevin
I'm a tad curious about all that piping. How's the molding? Are there any mold-lines, or might you be better off to replace it with wire or plastic rod? Also, how are the figures?
