GMK
I'm looking to add the battle damage to the MF, any clue as to where I can find pics? Google was no help! Cheers, Greg
toadwbg
There exists several good books with pictures of the physical models used in the films. I own many of these. Unfortunately, I do not have a scanner! Try your local bookstore for: Art of Star Wars Star Wars Chronicles From Star Wars to Indiana Jones, Best of the Lucasfilm Archives. These are all spectacular books. The Star Wars Chornicles one in particular is a masterpiece but will set you back from $100-$150!
Dave Williams
The best shots I've seen are the multiple detail shots on the insert in the new Fine Molds kit.

GEH737
Outstanding reference photos here - if you can't find it in these photos, you don't need it :D http://www.forbiddenplastic.com/ref_star_wars/

Grizzly
The best shots I've seen are the multiple detail shots on the insert in the new Fine Molds kit. Certainly, but pics of the upper hull only. The underside is generally "forgotten" even in good reference books. Edit : I looked at the box again and there are some pics of the underside, but not many... Edited January 4, 2006 by Grizzly

gunpowder
I can scan you the damage images from the Fine molds kit if you still need them?
GMK
Thanks for the offer anyway Gunpowder. I referred to the sheet as well as the links in this thread to add the damage. There were a few nervous beads of sweat turning the dremel clone onto a kit that cost $AUD300 (incl post)! All finished now, and look quite nice. Time to join the upper and lower hulls. volzj
Wow, you are a brave man for taking the Dremel to that kit. Any pictures for us??
GMK
Joe, I'm priming it tonight, pics after that.
GMK
Here is a (bad) pic of the lower right rear hull, which has the most substantial damage (two lines, roughly parallel). The upper hull and right docking ring were also done, but my camera (or the user) is too average to obtain decent pics. The cockpit "elbow is next on the list after I reinforce the joint with CA.
