Normally,RAF Sqn bosses jets have a small 'arrow' like pennant below the cockpit on the port side.But,unlike Op Granby when we had umpteen jets & crews to play with,cutbacks have all but stopped that. Before where a certain jet was the O.C'S mount,now it's a case of "Darren,you're in JW,Skii you're in JK,Spike.you're in JJ" BTW, ZD714 (AJW)is a 617 sqn aircraft.
