HokieSNFO
I saw the Blue Angels today. Ah, but wait, that's every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Aside from the standard T-6's, T-2's, T-1's, and T-39's, we had a VMAQ-4 Prowler on the ramp, along with a T-38 and a T-37. The Helo side of the ramp had a CH-46 and an SH-60B. I was also in the pattern with a Viking the other day. We did a few touch n go's and he was bouncing as well...then he departed (back to Jax I assume). Talk about pressure to sound cool on the radio! Rapier01
Nice shot Jon. Just out of curiousity, do you know if the Apaches are air conditioned?
Cobrahistorian
They sure are! Apaches are actually the only aircraft in the inventory with a/c, but that's strictly to cool the avionics. Keeping the pilots cool is just a nice side effect. ;)
Rapier01
That makes the choice of airframe easy considering where we're likely to end up going.
