Old Blind Dog
Interesting how many of us are doing armor right now. This is the 1/48 Tamiya M4A1 Sherman I built this last week. Made a very nice, diverting one-project "vacation" from teeny weeny 1/72 a/c. And speaking of 1/72; second photo shows the difference between the Tamiya 1/48 and DML 1/72 M4A1 kits. (The light silvering on the decals only became apparent AFTER I took the pictures! They were applied over a gloss coat, so don't know what went wrong. Will have to "dirty them up" a bit as well.) phantom
You know, until now I did not have a Snowbird. So here is a Hobbycraft 1/48 scale one using Belcher Bits decals and a transplanted F-4 Pilot. This one was built for the Airshow group build.

phantom
Hey, what are the odds? I built a Phantom!!!! 1/48 early edition 1/48 J with raised panel lines, NO aftermarket whatsoever, even kit decals. No landing gear, one coat of paint makes for a very quick build. dmthamade
1/32 f-14D for the Tomcat GB in VF-101 markings. Lotsa fun!! Don
phantom
I am loving this airshow group build!!! Easy builds, all with NO landing gear, no weapons, no weathering, no problems. This one is no exception, a very quickly finished 1/48 Hasegawa (Monogram Pro build) A-4E. Out of the box with the edition of a pilot left over from the last Phantom build. phantom
Another very simple out of the box, apart from Superscale decals, one colour model, with NO landing gear, no fancy stuff, real simple. I should build more like this. Got done quick with no hassle. 1/48 Hasegawa. Again for the airshow group build. And to end off a group shot of the 4 models built for this group build.
