Joel_W
Phantom, Just saw your finished build posted in the GB. Simply another outstanding Scooter. I'm still amazed at how fast you can complete a quality build. Joel
Michel C
Just finished this 1/20 Hasegawa Falke armored flying tank from the Machinen Krieger universe. More pics here Cheers! M
phantom
That thing is neat! Nice job. Normal real plane again. Pro Modeller B-25 with decals from the spare bin. This was built to replace one I did 10 years ago. As the old one was a gift I shell re-purpose it. Saty tuned.
Joel_W
Phantom, Another excellent build. This time a totally different theme then a military jet. The B-25 looks great. Joel
phantom
Took the one on the right......... Sprayed some paint on it. Now it is a B-25 target tug from CFB Trenton in the early to mid 50s.
phantom
Hasegawa CF-18 crashing into the dirt. Canuck decals to do the real thing as it appeared in 2010. Here are a bunch of CF-18s.
Joel_W
Phantom, Wow!! What a collection you've amassed. Just how many models do you currently have? Joel
phantom
428.
Joel_W
428. Phantom, Now that's amazing. I can't even contemplate having a collection that large. You must have been building for 40-50 years to come close to that number. Joel
phantom
Well..... 40 . I don't have anything left from when I was a kid. Those blister pack Airfix/ Matchbox kits have long since been tossed out.
Joel_W
I can't imagine how you can display even half of them just on shelves. Your wife must really be a saint. Joel
Trojan Thunder
A couple of Airfix 1/72 Gnats
Joel_W
Very nicely done duo. I really like the overall gray scheme better, then for no other reason that the Gloss Red is so common. Joel
phantom
Academy F-4C Phantom.
Joel_W
Phantom, Another outstanding 1/48 scale build. One thing I did notice is how well you did the yellow bands on the bombs. That has always given me issues. I've tried every method including masks, but none look as good as yours. Are yours decals or painted on? phantom
Those (this time) are decals. Came with the Academy kit.
Joel_W
Those (this time) are decals. Came with the Academy kit. Phantom, Just might try them rather then struggling with homemade masks. I have not one but two F4s from Academy on my ready to build shelf. Joel
Thommo
Monogram 1/72 F4B-4 was my last finish a few months ago. Now struggling big-time with a 1/72 Matchbox Gladiator which is the closest I've come to being defeated by any build! The rigging and subsequent touch-ups are killing me. Joel_W
Thommo, Sounds like the frustration level is getting up there. Why not just put the build down for a while, and start a new kit with just one wing to get those Mojo juices flowing again. Joel
BuckeyePhantomPhan
Phantastic Bomb Truck! I have been wanting to do one of these for years! I love it!

I made some decent progress last night, a few spots on the underside are less than what I'd like, but I'll leave them as is and press on to the finish. I'm actually wondering if the new bottle of CA I got on special from a hobby shop in Coffs Harbour (too old perhaps - can it go off?) has something wrong with it (though it seems to be identical brand to my last one)? Thommo, Glad that you've made more progress. From what Chuck has said, CCA glue can start to go bad over a period of time. That's why I buy my glues from Sprue Brothers as I figure they turn over their products fairly quickly. Joel
Joel_W
Phantom, Another excellent Canadian Build, That's a nice change of pace with the 1/72 Hasegawa CP-140 Aurora. Joel
