Here are some kits I finished over the last couple months.  All of them 1/48th and pretty much out of the box.

1/72 Matchbox Twin Otters. The two better ones use Above and Below decals. I had to build two more to get parts to fix the customers planes. Horrible landing gear. Needed to use pontoons on mine to get the parts to fix his wheels. Very poor bendy plastic. Had to use skis on two of them as the wheels would not stay straight no matter what I tried. The skis helped. The white guys in the look of when they were new around 1972. The yellow guys are in 80s markings, but the current real life markings are not too different.

Lately I have been on a USN prop binge.  Here are some of my recent completions.

Start off with a straight forward out of the box build of a Tamiya F4U-1A.

Next up a Hobby Boss F4U-4 out of the box with kit decals.

Last one up is a kitbash of the Hasegawa F4U-4 and a Tamiya F4U-1D.  I used the front and bottom fuselage of the Hasegawa kit and the hasegawa canopy and forced it onto the Tamiya kit.  The rest of it was the tamiya kit.  It was a fun exercise in kitbashing and came out ok.  The kits actually fit together pretty well.  I did have to rescribe the hasegawa parts to match the fine detail of the tamiya kit.  I used the Hasegawa decals for this version
