Finally finished a 1/48 Revell A-10A Warthog. Took a long time off and on but it doesn't look too bad considering its been decades since I last built a model. Now I have a pretty good stash of 'em (US jets) and need to keep building. I've learned a lot from this website and from the ARC members.

Thanks to everyone here. Now I need to get back to the F9F Panther I started.

I just finished these two Hasegawa F-14D Tomcats for Tomcat Group build.

Both used VF decals VF-31 markings and VF decals stencils.

Here are the ones I've finished in 2009:

Hasegawa's old 1/72 A6M5. It was my first attempt at the "Salt Chipping" method.

Tamiya 1/72 Birdcage Corsair, done up as Lt. Kenneth Walsh's ride with VMF 124 in US Intermediate Blue over White (#13). I'll get some photos taken and post them (or maybe submit an article) so you can decide how I did!

Sure feels nice to finish something!

Last night a friends kid built a egg plane P-40. Built, painted and decals in 3 hours. No photos but its not too shabby.

He even used my airbrush. No major damage to the model room or anything.

OK, here is a REAL model. 1/48 Hasegawa F-4 British from a really old special edition box. Even used kit decals. Just not all of the 1983 special markings as I think the basic test squadron markings looked better.

This was built for the test squadron group build.
