DamienB
Another sad day. This ain't a good week. Most of Coltishall's based Jags departed today for their new home at RAF Coningsby. As well as a diamond nine practice flypast, we also got treated to a flypast of FJWOEU types now proudly carrying the 41(F) Sqn colours - only 6 Sqn remain to carry on flying the Jaguar. Anyway here are the pics... On the line for the last time... Coo that's a big Corgi model... 41(F) flypast... A final look at the line from on-high... ...and the other line... note good turnout at crash gate 3!
DamienB
Time for some NOISE! Sadly the weather conspired against good pics of either flypast... better luck Saturday hopefully.
phantom
Some superior photography in there. Never good to see the planes or bases go away. But its all money eh?
David Walker
I'm sorry that your area is losing so many planes but boy the photos you're taking are incredible. That black and white head-on of the Jag is simply remarkable. Is this what you do for a living?
Gary West
Great coverage here and thanks for listing these. Can't wait to see some closer images of the FJWOEU line up. Saturday will be quite emotional I bet.
Rapier01
Nice shots. Not a pretty aircraft however...
alert5
Speaking of Jaguars, IAF is getting more two-seaters for deep-strike missions. Video of the news report http://alert5.com/2006/03/iaf-jaguar-packs...-firepower.html

Neil
Fabulous pictures there Damien, lovely stuff. I have nothing but good memories of that place over the years, depressing thought knowing that it will not around any more. :D Again, great pics....... Here's to Coltishall, thanks for the memories.
