Lightning Trainer arrived yesterday! ;)

Having played with a nmf on my Mirage IIIc for the Group Build, I'll do a better one for this baby!

I've said it before and I'll say it again...the Raffle aspect of the build was a pleasant surprise and a great idea. Roll on the Airfix Group Build, when I can off-load some unlikely-to-be-built-by-me-in-this-cottage larger Airfix kits.

Card through the door yesterday from the Royal Mail "We tried very hard to force a parcel through your letterbox but it's too big so come and collect it." I'm not expecting anything else, so thanks Hal, looks like the Fiat has arrived !

Hal - my Canberra arrived a few days ago - very quick delivery from the US to Oz. Many thanks, needed one of those for my growing Matchbox collection which feeds my nostalgic trip back to the blissfuly simple days of my childhood.

PS loved your address on the box - is that 'the' famous street in NY?

:D

Finally picked up the Buccaneer from the post office (the ‘Its to big for the letter box’ card arrived on the 13th)

I think this will be done as an RAAF what if.

Cheers

Dave

Dave, how about a RAN Bucc flying off the HMAS Melbourne?

:)

Same overall as USN 1970's - Gull grey over white.

Squadron colours varies, but any of the A-4E squandrons would do the trick :)

Hawkeye and Aussie Decals make a good selection.

My Meteor has arrived! Thank you Hal!

Now, for additional items I'm about to raid Hannants. Aeroclub seem to have quite a few extras - does anyone know if I'm right in thinking a Mk. 7 canopy should fit as a NF.11/12 canopy?

That's what I read somewhere - the NF11/12 have the same canopy as the T7.

I'm hoping to find an aeroclub T7 conversion for my raffle prize, but am planning on staying with the kit canopy (I know how to use them).
