James Arnold
Here it is, my idea for a Falklands War group build banner, I had just read the thread about 'how do you make your group build banners' and someone said about that 'GIMP' programme so i downloaded and had a mess about and then decided to have a go at a banner. (This is my first time using this programme and my first time doing a banner) What do you think? Thanks James :( Edited April 14, 2006 by James Arnold
Guest klyveb
James, looks good but......there were 2 sides involved in the conflict, perhaps a British and Argentine aircraft would balance it out a tad. Cheers

James Arnold
I did a picture in photoshop of a vulcan so i have used it in this banner! Here it is... What do you think to this one? personally i like this one and i might use this for myself and anyone else who likes it is welcome to use it. Thanks James
James Arnold
I've been practising differant skills on photoshop and have come up with these, there just differant versions! this one hasn't got a foward slash between Falklands and Malvinas. this one has shadowed text This version has a forward slash in black, which makes the right wing on the vulcan look funny this one is quite nice because it looks as if the vulan has is flying over the text! The reason have not put forward slashes in is because the font i used does not have one. What do you think? Thanks James

BlueNosers352nd
Good start there James. Might wanna add a simple border to it, just to cap it off. Play with the blending modes on your layers to soften up the brushes used. Keep at it, you are off to a great start.
