richgarf
1/48 Airfix Spitfire F22 After looking at some of the superb metal finishes in the gallery, this kit gave the option of an aluminium Spitfire, so I decided to give it a go. Very straightforward build, I also spent a bit of time on the cockpit. Kit was sprayed using a can of Plasticote aluminium - 2 coats then dulled down with black pastel rubbed in with cotton wool. is it windy yet?
Looks good. A lot of people forget that silver spitifires are not NMF, but are painted silver. Ron
